Biarritz Sports And Classic Cars (Bscc) is pleased to present this 1978 Rolls Royce Silver Shadow II in Primerose Yellow livery and vinyl roof.

The Silver Shadow II appeared in 1977 and is the evolution of the Silver Shadow. It was powered by the famous 6.75 litre V8 engine with 225 bhp.

Only 8425 were produced until 1980.

No less than eight 'Connolly' hides were used to line the interior of each car.  The level of finish of the upholstery, the luxurious carpets and the burr walnut veneers was of the highest standard. Each Silver Shadow used 20 electric motors, powering everything from the radio aerial to individual front seat adjustments. The build quality of the Silver Shadow remained unsurpassed, with each model taking no less than 12 weeks to complete.

This right-hand drive model was imported from the UK in 2010.

The paint and vinyl roof are in perfect condition. The car has been completely dismantled and repainted about ten years ago.

The interior is original, the patina of time making the car even more desirable.

The service booklet shows that the car has been serviced by Rolls Royce specialists until 2008 and 91,000 miles.

The road test is in line with this type of vehicle. Everything goes smoothly. The smell of leather and the purr of the big V8, well installed in the naturally comfortable seats, we easily understand the idea of the English luxury of the late 70s.

This is definitely not and will not be the car of the “man in the street”
