We’re offering a Morgan 4/4 Tourer  (4 seats)

 

Wooden structure on a metal frame, assembled by hand, these cars, so special, have survived the years keeping the original style.

Powered by a Ford Kent 1600cc engine, the car is very pleasant to drive.

 

Delivered new in Paris by the Jacques Savoye dealership, it has only known 2 owners, the last one since 1973.

As the photos show, the cart is in a good used condition,

 

Despite a good presentation, this Morgan needs to be restored, with among others:

- Corrosion on the chassis, especially the cross members of it

- Front shock absorbers

- Electricity dashboard and odometer

- 4 Tires, …

 

The road test is satisfactory. The engine starts easily and "runs smoothly". The gears pass without cracking, steering and braking are consistent despite the weakness of the front suspensions. The pleasure of driving a convertible originally developed in the 1930s.

 

It will be the car of a patient and persevering amateur
