Biarritz Sports And Classic Cars (Bscc) is pleased to present this 1970 Jaguar XJ6 Series 1

 

With a design by Williams Lyons, the XJ was a quick success.

Its beautiful lines, luxurious interior and E-Type engine were the seductive elements of this model.

The 6-cylinder 4.2L engine developed almost 190hp. For its time, this made it a sports sedan.

 

This XJ has been in the hands of the same owner for over 20 years, it is a second hand car.

The car has always remained in the South West and has been maintained by the same garage for the past 20 years.

 

This car is in its original condition with a superb patina and has never been restored.

A Dinitrol treatment was carried out several decades ago. As a result, this XJ has been preserved from rust.

 

A stainless steel exhaust system has been fitted to the car to prevent corrosion and to add a melodious sound to the 6 cylinder engine.
