Biarritz Sports And Classic Cars (BSCC) is pleased to present this Jaguar E-Type Convertible Series 3

The ultimate evolution of the E-Type arrived in April 1971 with the introduction of the Series 3, which featured the all-new 266bhp 5.3 liter V12 engine. This engine was designed and developed by Walter Hassan and Harry Mundy. It was originally intended for the future Le Mans challenger, the 1966 XJ13. It was in fact the only series production of  V12 engine in the world at the time.

The 3 Serie was only offered as a convertible or a 2+2 coupe.
The 5.3-litre V12 made the car smooth and torquey. The E-Type had finally become a true GT.

This car was delivered new to the USA and exported to Germany in 2009 and then, imported to France. It has remained in the hands of the same owner since 2010.

The upholstery and the interior are in very good and original condition.
The bodywork looks very good. We can imagine that it has been repainted in its original colour, probably about twenty years ago.

Behind the wheel, the smoothness of the V12 sets the tone. With the air conditioning and power steering, the comfort adds to the luxury of the car. The manual gearbox, quite rare on the 3 Series, is very pleasant. The ideal car for a romantic weekend away.

The vehicle will be serviced before the delivery
